--------------- COMPETITION INFORMATION --------------
DATE: April 18, 2009
TIME: Walk the course at 8:30 and Competition starts at 9:00 sharp.
Positions will be randomly drawn (not in order of registration).
There will be between 10 obstacles. The obstacles will be divided into TWO COURSES and two judges. Please don't ask what the obstacles will be. Do Google searches for trail horse obstacle challenges and look at pictures of events all over the country. Ask others on Fla horse what they have seen. (It's a secret on this end.)
This is not a race but time will be the tie breaker. Obstacles will be set up in a way that racing around the course will not be possible. There will be NO dismounting and remounting as part of the obstacles and NO bareback riding. This will allow people to enter who can't get up and down easily and who can't ride bareback (hmmm, that's people like me).
We need many people to please support this effort to raise money for the Agricultural Museum.
MUST HAVE: UTD Negative Coggins within one year, helmets for those under 18; Must WEAR: boots, long pants (no tennis shoes). You will not be judged on attire or fancy tack. This is a TRAIL competition and so come as if you were going on the trail.
